DRAGON & DRAGON X gear pumps

Compact, electrically driven gear pumps for oil and fluid grease up to NLGI 000 – the reliable supply unit for single-line, injection and progressive central lubrication systems.

PRINCIPLE

Compact gear pumps for oil and fluid grease

The DRAGON range from DropsA consists of compact electric gear pumps that deliver both oil and fluid grease (up to NLGI 000). Both series — DRAGON and the further-developed DRAGON X — feed single-line, injection and progressive systems, making them a versatile heart for small and medium-sized central lubrication installations. The pump draws lubricant from its integrated reservoir and delivers it continuously to the network, where a progressive distributor meters it precisely to each point. As a gear pump, the DRAGON produces a steady, pulsation-poor flow that suits a range of system pressures — from low-pressure single-line (System 01) up to higher-pressure progressive networks (Series 26). The pressure depends on the configuration: up to 70 bar in three-phase interval operation, 40 bar single-phase, and 30 bar in continuous operation. This flexibility lets one pump family cover Pressen, machine tools and gearboxes alike. Handles both oil and fluid grease (up to NLGI 000) For single-line, injection and progressive systems DRAGON X with additional options, including a 24 V variant 3 l / 6 l reservoirs with visual or optical level check Robust IP 55 enclosure for everyday industrial duty The DRAGON is designed for straightforward, low-maintenance operation. Its gear-pump principle delivers a steady flow with few wearing parts, and the visual or optical level check keeps the fill state in view, so routine care is largely limited to refilling and occasional inspection. The IP 55 enclosure protects the unit in dusty or damp workshops, while the choice between DRAGON and DRAGON X — including the 24 V option — lets the pump be matched to the available supply and to the system pressure required. Because it handles both thin mineral oil and NLGI 000 fluid grease, one pump family can cover changing lubrication tasks across presses, machine tools and gearboxes without switching to a different technology. Spare parts and DropsA service support are available throughout the pump's service life.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about DRAGON

What does the DRAGON pump deliver?
It is an electric gear pump that delivers both oil (mineral oil 15–1000 cSt) and fluid grease up to NLGI 000, feeding single-line, injection and progressive systems.
What is the difference between DRAGON and DRAGON X?
Both share the same gear-pump principle; the DRAGON X adds further supply options, including a 24 V variant, for a wider range of installations.
What pressures does the DRAGON achieve?
Up to 70 bar in three-phase interval operation, 40 bar single-phase and 30 bar in continuous operation — the exact value depends on the system configuration.
Which systems is it suitable for?
Single-line (System 01), injection and progressive (Series 26) central lubrication systems — on presses, machine tools and gearboxes.
What reservoir sizes and protection are available?
3 l and 6 l reservoirs with a visual or optical level check, in a robust IP 55 enclosure for industrial environments.
