It is ideal for cylinders with large rod diameters, long strokes and high cycle rates, where fluid can repeatedly escape due to seal wear. The drain opening is located between the rod seal and the rod wiper. Especially during the run-in phase, hydraulic oil can escape and is reliably collected in the drain container.
